these are just those tricks played on human psychology !
But here, i mean in Kerala State of INDIA, its something very different!!
Thieve doent need your ignition key!! neither your presence!!
I dont how they manage it very well!!
They first remove door beeding, pushes down the door locking mechanisms, then get
inside. Then for them its quite simple, just short the ignition wires!!
The entire `procedure' takes just a matter 5 minutes for `experts'!!
In case of any protection systems in place, they first just knock the vehicle on any side,
ensure that its indicator bulbs flashes for a moment, meaning the system is armed. Then they unscrew the tail lamp assembly, short circuit the indicator wiring, then again heavily
knock the vehicle, that the protection system flashes the bulbs again to warn before the siren sounds, resulting in a blown out fuse!!!! Then the rest of procedure is same as above!! Comments welcome to my e-mail address (george_stephen16@yahoo.co.in)

First let me say: I LOVE Morocco, it is my favorite place on earth, and I have been many times. I find the people to be very friendly, very warm, and very open for the MOST part. However, I (and other tourists as well, I imagine) am always hassled by people hanging around bus stations trying to make money for no real reason. I empathize with the unemployed everywhere in the world, and I realize some people are just trying to find a way to feed themselves -- but many people take this way out of hand.

One time, I took my long-term girlfriend to Morocco with me for the first time, and there was a man at the Chefchaouen bus station who would NOT leave either of us alone, demanding that we pay him 10Dh because he 'helped' us 'find' our bus, even though it was right in front of us and we already knew which bus it was. Afterwards, he demanded that we pay him 10Dh each to check our small, school-size backpacks in the luggage department, and meanwhile all the 'locals' were getting ON the bus with all of their gear. I flat out refused multiple times. I tried to remain as respectful as possible while refusing to be taken advantage of.

Eventually, the man grew angry and he shoved me. I never tolerate disrespect from anybody, no matter where in the world I might be. I told him very forcefully that if he ever laid a hand on me again, he'd regret it. I guess he took that as a challenge, and he shoved me again and added a nice "Fuck you, American" in there. I didn't hesitate to sock the guy right in the nose, sending him falling back into the bus with his nose bleeding. Surprisingly, many other local men who were watching the event unfold chastised the man and said that I was 'in the right' for standing up for myself, and that this man was acting like an idiot towards me.

Hopefully nothing like that ever happens again...and as I said, for the most part I think that Moroccans are very wonderful people.

About the checkpoints :

I have traveled to south morocco very recently, and teh problems with teh checkpoints in morocco is exactly the same, so it is a huge lie to say that anything changed; there are checkpoints every ten minutes, and even if we re keen to cooperate and help for supposed terrorism and security purpose, teh truth is that the officers are really annoying; its a waste of time and it happens so often that it can ruin your holidays;

now maybe if you re using an airplane it s another story ...It s sad that they make it so heavy to travel in such a beautiful country,
