Inadequacy of USCIS
A Moroccan toddler had to live with his aunt for two years, apparently because his name, Ahmed Yassine, is similar to that of an alleged terrorist (this was edited for my lack of reading ability). The AP story can be found here, among other places.
I probably shouldn’t say too much about USCIS, but yikes. Once we’re in the States, I’ll comment further.

You actually mean it when you say “known terrorist”?

weird!
Cheikh Yassine was killed in 2004, was a palestinian old man, how can he be mistaken for a 3 years old Moroccan child? and how can a child be a threat?!
besides, that child’s surname is not Yassine, it’s Boujrad. Mohamed Yassine is only his forename!

Nah, I don’t really mean it, Simply Moroccan - I don’t know all that much.

Probably they thought that the child was the terrorist’s reincarnation.

Where I like Barbara’s answer I fear it is nothing as spiritual, more a bureaucratic bugger up. Much like many that have occurred because of the FBI terrorists list in the U.S. mistaking two year olds for adults on the list and BARRING THEM FROM FLIGHTS. I mean the logic or lack or it defies description. Unless of course the little bugger is carrying something deadly in his nappy, always possible…
